1. Who we are

RECOSA (“we”, “us”, “our”) is an AI-powered regulatory compliance platform operated by Fabrice Fonder, sole trader, based in Belgium.

2. What RECOSA does

RECOSA is a compliance co-pilot that helps SMEs understand and work towards compliance with EU regulations including GDPR, NIS2, and the EU AI Act. The platform provides:

  • AI-powered compliance Q&A

  • Gap assessments against EU regulatory obligations

  • Document generation (privacy policies, data processing agreements, etc.)

  • Website compliance audits

  • Regulatory monitoring and alerts

3. Important limitation — not legal advice

RECOSA is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice.

The information and documents generated by RECOSA are for informational and guidance purposes only. They are based on publicly available regulatory texts and guidance, interpreted by AI systems that may contain errors or omissions.

You should not rely solely on RECOSA outputs for compliance decisions. We strongly recommend having important compliance documents reviewed by a qualified legal professional before use.

RECOSA does not accept liability for any compliance failures, regulatory fines, or legal consequences arising from reliance on our platform outputs.

4. Your account

To use RECOSA, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old

  • Provide accurate information when creating your account

  • Keep your login credentials secure and confidential

  • Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use RECOSA for any unlawful purpose

  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy the platform

  • Share your account credentials with others (except as permitted under your plan)

  • Upload malicious content or attempt to compromise our systems

  • Use the platform to generate content that is false, misleading, or harmful

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

6. Subscription and payment

RECOSA is offered on a subscription basis. By subscribing, you agree to pay the fees applicable to your chosen plan.

  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date

  • Credits included in your plan reset monthly and do not roll over

  • Purchased top-up credits are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase

  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days’ notice to existing subscribers

  • Refunds are not provided for partial months or unused credits, except where required by applicable law

7. Intellectual property

All content, software, and technology comprising the RECOSA platform is owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the platform without our written permission.

Documents generated by RECOSA based on your inputs are yours to use for your own business purposes.

8. Data and privacy

Your use of RECOSA is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

9. Availability and changes

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may:

  • Perform maintenance that temporarily affects access

  • Update or modify features with reasonable notice

  • Discontinue the service with 30 days’ notice to subscribers

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RECOSA’s total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the platform shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including loss of profits, loss of data, or business interruption.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by Belgian law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Belgium, without prejudice to your rights as a consumer under the law of your country of residence.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of RECOSA after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
